The most hated family and church group in the country, The Westboro Baptist Church, is planning on spreading their vile message of hate and homophobia by protesting Robin Williams’ funeral.
The legendary actor and genius comedian was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California, on Monday.
The WBC has publicly announced their plans to picket Williams’ “very private” ceremony in San Francisco near his home, despite the actor’s family’s request for privacy and respect. The WBC has also labeled Williams a “Fag Pimp,” for his support of the LGBT community.

To counter WBC’s hateful actions, Planting Peace, a nonprofit organization which spreads love and equality around the globe, is launching a fundraiser to raise money for William’s favorite organization, the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
“Like so many others who were touched by Robin Williams in one way or another, I was deeply saddened when I heard about his untimely passing,” Aaron Jackson, co-founder of Planting Peace told The Gaily Grind in an email Friday. “He was a man who spent his life making others smile and he used his platform as a celebrity to help others in need. When the WBC announced plans to protest his funeral, I knew immediately that we needed to do something to counteract their act of hate. This is a small way we can honor Robin’s memory and also take a stand for eradicating hate through acts of love and compassion.”
