Bride Marries Total Stranger On Reality TV Show While Same-Sex Marriage Remains Illegal

“Married At First Sight” is a sort of ‘arranged marriage’ type reality show where the bride and groom meet in person for the first time minutes before tying the knot.

The FYI network show is based on a Danish program by the same name, following six couples as they make what will most likely become the worst decisions of their lives, on national TV!

An expert sexologist, spiritualist, psychologist and sociologist help the couples throughout this “extreme social experiment.”

Jamie Otis, a 27-year-old nurse from Harlem, freaked out after meeting her husband Doug Hehner, a 31-year-old commercial sales rep and lifeguard, for the first time at the altar:

“Walking down the aisle, I am so scared. This is the worst feeling! I just happened to be not attracted to the guy. I’m getting married right now to someone I don’t know. I’m thinking I just made the worst decision of my life.”

Heterosexuals making a reality show mockery of marriage, totally fine. Marriage for two people who love each other and just happen to be the same sex, constitutionally banned by heterosexuals in a majority of states.
