Hockey Fans Cheer As Gay Couple Shares A Smooch On Stadium’s Kiss-Cam

Gay couple Brad Parr and Andy Evans drew thousands of cheers when they were featured on the Kiss-Cam at the LA Kings game on Thursday.

“It was a particularly sweet night since the Kings were playing and beat my hometown Toronto,” Parr told Outsports. “My parents and siblings live in L.A. but the rest of my family think I am a terrible traitor for being a Kings fan; I’ve lived in L.A. for 17 years.”

Parr and Evans race triathlons together and are currently raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training at the 2016 Lavaman Triathlon, reported Outsports.

The well received kiss is an encouraging sign of the growing acceptance of same-sex couples in the United States.
