Anti-LGBT Christian Law Firm Warns That Gay People Are Building An ‘Army’ To Bring Down Trump

Liberty Counsel, the anti-LGBT Christian law firm that represented Kentucky anti-gay marriage clerk Kim Davis, is warning his fellow Christians about a secret plot by “radical leftist” homosexuals and the American Civil Liberties Union, to take down Donald Trump.

The ultra-conservative Christian law firm, which is listed as an anti-gay hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, has accused the ACLU of “recruiting an army of left-leaning activists to mobilize against President Trump’s policies on the local, state, and federal levels.”

The fundraising campaign email goes on to claim that the ACLU army’s “agenda includes an aggressive pro-LGBTQ campaign that includes fighting against any religious liberty protections that they deem to be ‘antigay’ offered by President Trump or Congress.”

“Please consider making your best possible tax-deductible gift right now so we can STAND AGAINST THE ACLU’S ATTACKS and continue other vital efforts,” the email begs.

“The ACLU is already attempting to overturn President Trump’s revocation of the former president’s Bathroom Directive. The plans of this radical group are now among the biggest threats to life, liberty, and family in the history of America.”

“Now armed with over $80 million in post-election war chest funds, the ACLU is pushing to advance its radical agenda like never before.”

The hate group was exposed by CBS News in 2016 for secretly helping Republican lawmakers draft anti-LGBT legislation in at least 20 states, bills that helped protects those who, for religious reasons, decline to employ or serve gays, lesbians or transgender people.

Their bills began cropping up in Republican state legislatures soon after the Supreme Court legalized same sex marriage in 2015.
