Andrew Garfield Surprises “Drag Race” Queens With Show-Stopping Whitney Houston Lip Sync

Ever since its move to VH1, RuPaul’s Drag Race has certainly made some new fans. Now it turns out this even includes Oscar-nominated actor Andrew Garfield. The actor took the stage during a recent Werq the World tour stop in London.

Michelle Visage hosted the show and shared the stage with a bunch of fabulous queens. But it’s safe to say the night’s surprise guest stole the show.

Garfield got onstage during the “Wig in a Box” segment of the show and performed Whitney Houston classic “I’m Every Woman”. He even pulled out a backflip!

Garfield was at the show with his Angels in America co-stars Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Russell Tovey. They’re currently starring together in a National Theatre production of the play.

“What a show, what a night! Thank you as always. YOU ARE MY HEART AND SOUL. Andrew Garfield, you are my new friend,” Visage wrote on Instagram.

“I am SO proud of you for not just lip syncing Whitney tonight in a wig no less, but for opening your mind and heart to all it has to offer.”

Visage later posted a photo of herself, Garfield and Orange is the New Black actress Laverne Cox.
